Does it make any difference if I am using the Main Outs vs the Monitor Outs on the desk (at the moment I have the main outs connected to my Rockit monitors) How do I correctly route the Ableton IO Matrix to allow myself to do this? However whenever I do this I'm getting an internal feedback loop, and I'm not quite sure how to isolate the signal properly, though I am pretty sure that it should be possible. Rather than using the onboard effects, I would like to be able to route already-recorded audio from Ableton, back out through the desk and through an external effects setup (my guitar pedalboard), and then record the effected signal back into Ableton as a separate track. My trouble at the moment is on the recording side of things.

I have recently bought an Allen & Heath Zed10FX desk, to double as both an audio interface for my DAW (Ableton 10), and a live desk for small gigs.
